Pandora's Box: Beware (Chapter 1= The death of her parents)

Most people find that moving is the worst thing in the world because you are leaving your friends and family. But not for Pandora, she hated everyone in her small town in California. She was very happy to be moving to London, England and going to a new school. A Magical school for witches and wizards. Her parents were both wizard and witch. Hogwarts was a very good school for witches and wizards and she was happy to be going. Though there was one problem because she was home

schooled she had to start as a first year. Though this had to be better than going to a stupid muggle school where everytime she got mad she set fire to whatever room she was in. Yes that is right folks Pandora has Pyrokinesis. Or what everyone calls her pyro. Due to her causing so many fires her parents thought it was best to move before questions were asked. Dumbledore was the first to contact them and had interest in Pandora. Though little did she know that she would never get the chance to really get to know him unlike Harry Potter.

Pandora was sorted into Ravenclaw and made quick friends with everyone in her house. Luna was one of the first to come to her. Then it was Cho and her friends. Then so on and so on. Pandora was going to enjoy Hogwarts.

Pandora sat on her bed studying for Professor Snape's test not wanting to be called a dunderhead and then get into trouble for setting his classroom on fire, again. When Pandora set down the book to get a drink she found a letter sitting on her bed and a very determine owl. Pandora laughed and gave him a treat.

Dear Pandora Summers,

Please come to my office.

Professor Dumbledore

Pandora put the letter down and headed out the door while Bumper her fat cat tried to follow her by waddling towards the door.

Pandora headed to the Headmaster's office knocking on the door.

"AH yes Miss Summers do come in" Said Professor Dumbledore from his desk. He looked serious and Pandora could tell what he wanted to tell her wasn't good at all.

"Please sit..you will need too." He said his voice soft. Pandora sat down and waited for what he had to say. "I was told that well I guess I should come out and say it." He said handing Pandora a tissue.

"Your parents were killed by Death Eaters." He said.

Pandora closed her eyes tears rolling down her face as she heard the news. She opened her eyes and muttered oh no "Your bird I set him on fire." Dumbledore looked over at his bird and just chuckled.

"No, he is a Phoenix he is supposed to do that." He said. "You're taking this rather well."

"How am I suppose to take it? Freak out and throw things blow your office. No, I don't want to be kicked out of school." She said calmly tears rolling down her face.

"Well, I'm going to let you take some time off to go to the funeral and to pack your things so they are sent to your foster parents. I don't know who they are but the Ministry has already placed you with them for the time you are here at Hogwarts."

Pandora nodded "I will go get my things. Do you want me to go to the Great Hall when I finish?" She asked wiping her tears with the tissue Dumbledore gave her.

"If you would please." He said and Pandora headed out the door.

What was Pandora pulling she was crushed she fell to the ground on the steps and started to cry. Her parents meant the world to her and to be put in a home with foster parents was like a slap in the face. After letting out as much as she could she got up and headed back to the Ravenclaw tower.

When she opened the door she picked up Bumper and held him close. "Bumper they are gone.." The cat meowed and purred closed to her as if he was saying it was all going to be alright.

Pandora finished knowing it was time to meet her foster parents. What would they be like? Who were they? Did they have a kid here at Hogwarts? And does she want to know who they are?
