Pandora's Box: Beware (Chapter 5 = Killing isn't always so kind )

Pandora woke up looking around cursing it wasn't a dream she really did meet the Dark Lord and well now he was going to take her out to see what she can do. She looked around wondering if she could get out of this nightmare. But in came Bellatrix the moment she thought nightmare.

"Up! Breakfast and then the Dark Lord wants to see you." She said as she walked out of the room. Wormtail brought in the food and set it down infront of her. "Good Morning Pandora." He nodded before walking out. Pandora nodded back and started to eat her breakfast. When she finished Bellatrix walked in and took her into the room where the Dark Lord was. It was the same room again.

"If you don't mind me asking is this like your throne room?" She asked and The Dark Lord not one to laugh did laugh. When he finished laughing he looked at her. "In way yes. But this is also where I sleep and I really like this room don't you?" Pandora nodded when he asked her that. The room was rather nice and big.

"So, take your wand and I want you to get ready to do a few spells for me. My specialty." He said as he called in the first victim. "The first spell I want you to use is called the The Imperius Curse. Have you heard of it?" He asked.

"Yes I have." She said. She took out her wand to get it ready. Bellatrix walked in with three men who looked scared and rightfully so.

Voldemort took the one man and put him in front of Pandora with ten feet apart from them both. "Use the curse on this muggle loving fool."

Pandora raised her wand and shout out the curse "IMPERIO!" She looked at the man and then said "Dance for me!" The man started to dance.

"Good! Now on to the next man." he said and Bellatrix pull the man in front of Pandora once again ten feet away from each other. The other man was sent back to the prison.

"Now I want you to use the Cruciatus Curse." He said. Pandora nodded and lifted up her wand.

"CRUCIO!!" With that red shoot out of her wand and Bellatrix jumped up and down laughing in glee and the man in front of Pandora screamed out in pain falling to the floor. Pandora just watched the man not letting the curse go but soon broke out of it and let go. She knew what one was next and didn't think she could do it.

"Now it's time for the curse that is rather one of my favorites. The Killing Curse." He said and Pandora nodded she didn't think she could do it though...no she was sure of it.

She held out her wand for the man that was now standing infront of her and her voice shaking "Avada.....Kedavra!" The man in front of her didn't do anything at all. He just opened his eyes looking around in fear. He was surprised.

Voldemort moved Pandora out of the way and yelled out "AVADA KEDAVRA!" He then turned to Pandora."When you do any of these spells you must mean them!" He raised his voice but didn't yell at Pandora knowing she was still a student. Though next time he wouldn't be so nice.

"Take her out of here. Keep her in the room and she isn't to leave this house till she has use the Killing curse just once!" Bellatrix nodded to him and took Pandora back up to her room. Pandora could hear the door locking.

Pandora got up and walked over to the door to see if it was locked. When she tried it, it was. She then moved back to her bed and sat down wondering what else to do she was upset and didn't know how she was going to pull off that spell and not really mean it at the same time.

Pandora's Box: Beware (Chapter 4= Testing )

Pandora was feeling really good now. The most scariest wizard in the world wanted to test her abilities and well for some reason that made Pandora feel excited. It was better than him wanting to kill her that's for damn sure. When Wormtail came for her Pandora was ready to go.

Pandora still shown caution when she walked into the room where he most likely hung out the most it was the biggest and she wasn't sure if he slept being he was always in this room and it had no bed. She walked to where she was sitting before and stood there. Voldemort once again was looking into the fire mumbling something and then said "Please sit." Pandora sat down and waited for him. She wondered what he would test her on. While deep in her thought Voldemort finished and walked over to her.

"Now to test what you know." he said and Pandora broke out of deep thought. She looked at him and nodded to show she was listening. He pulled out his wand and Pandora fiddled with her cloak trying to find her wand. She looked up and he looked down at her annoyed.

"It looks like you failed one of the tests. You should always have your wand where you can find it." He said. Finally Pandora found it and had it out.

He then shout out "IMPERIO!!" He watched Pandora looking at her as nothing happened "Interesting. It really doesn't work on you. But I'm sure as I heard it does this does work. CRUCIO!" With that Pandora let out a scream of pain yes that one did work. Voldemort smirked and let go of the spell. He wasn't even going to try the other spell. If it work then he lost someone of value and he didn't want that.

Pandora got up wiping the tears from her face from screaming out in pain. It wasn't a long one but enough to put her in alot of pain. Voldemort may have been evil but he was still a gentlemen and held out his hand to help her up. Pandora knew he was just testing her out and took his hand. She was shocked to find his hand was smooth like human skin and not like snake skin.

Finally on her feet she looked at him ready for whatever else he was planning. He circled around her wondering what else he could do. Then putting his wand away he said "Show me this special power with fire."

Pandora smiled she loved using her fire spell and made a ball of fire appear and started to bounce it up and down around her body but stopped "If you could have someone have a robe waiting. This usually causes me to loose all my clothing." Voldemort nodded and called in Wormtail to do so. Pandora continued the fire then danced around her and then the fire took over from head to toe she was covered in flames. Her hair didn't burn but only danced with the moving flames. Her clothing however burnt off into a pile of ash.

"That is enough and very impressive. Here is the robe." He handed the robe to Pandora who now was standing there in the nude and quickly put the robe on.

"You may go now. I'm very pleased by the testing so far. Come back in a few hours and I will see how you do in the Unforgivable curses." He smirked at that he had just the test subjects he would use for this. They were down in the dungeons and just sitting there. One was a muggle that he will just let Pandora kill and the others are Blood traitors. Perfect.

Pandora's Box: Beware (Chapter 3 = The Accident )

Pandora laid in the bed not able to fall asleep when knowing she would have to face the Dark Lord again and Bellatrix too. They were both pretty scary. She jumped when she heard a pound on the door.

"GET TO SLEEP, GIRL!!" yelled Bellatrix through the door and Pandora could hear her walking away yelling at someone named Wormtail. Pandora walked to the door and listened in.

"I want you to watch that door and make sure when she wakes up to tell me." Bellatrix said to Wormtail.

"Yes, Madame I will." Pandora heard him say as she walked back to the bed where she laid down. Was she going to see her parent's funeral? She had a bad feeling she wasn't. She heard another pound on the door.

"GIRL! I TOLD YOU TO GET TO SLEEP!! YOU NEED YOUR REST!" Bellatrix shrieked. Pandora laid down quickly hating this so much. She held up her hand making a fire ball and bouncing it up and down to calm her down. It worked and Pandora was fast asleep but she forgot to make the ball disappear too.

Before Pandora knew she was woken by a fire inside her room. Lucky for her she wouldn't get hurt being fire didn't hurt her at all. Before Pandora could put out the fire she made Wormtail came in muttering a spell making sprinkle all over her and the fire. Pandora stood there with a very uncomfortable look on her face. Did anyone tell him what she was?

"You know I could of put this fire out on my own right?" She asked him.

"I didn't know. I just knew if anything happened to you they would kill me." He said.

Pandora held up a finger and made her finger light up like a candle and then blew it out like a candle. "See? No harm to me. Want more proof make a fire."

Wormtail wanted to test this out so he held out his wand muttering a spell to cause a small fire on the floor. "Walk through that, slowly."

Pandora smiled and did that and bent down putting her hand down inside the fire and bringing it back up. She made the fire go away and walked over to him and twirled around.

"You're clothing are ruined though." He said.

"Yeah that's the only bummer. If I walk into a building of fire I walk out fine but naked as a jay bird!" When Wormtail gave her a look like he didn't understand what she said. "Oh yes forgot you Brits don't know American slang. Well I walk out naked from head to toe." She said to him and then he finally nodded.

Before Wormtail could say anything more Lucius walked in looking around wondering what happened so he asked "What happened here?"

"She can cause fire with her mind. And had abit of an accident." Wormtail said before she could say anything. It was good he said it because she thinks if she told him she was playing with a fireball and fell asleep it wouldn't go over to well.

Bellatrix then came crashing in grabbing Pandora pushing her to the wall "Do that again and I will personally kill you." She then took her arm and dragged her out of the room heading towards where the Dark Lord was before. This time he wasn't looking into the fire. He was sitting at the table staring at the both of them walking in. Pandora took a deep breath not sure if she wanted to know what was going to happen to her.

"Sit!" Voldemort demanded and Pandora sat down quickly. Bellatrix looked at him with a smirk and walked out of the room leaving them alone. He said nothing when she left and just stared at Pandora. It was like he was thinking of something to say or just studying her. Then he got up and moved over to her with his wand out.

"Are you a friend of Harry Potter?" He asked looking down at her daring her to say yes.

"I barely know him. Let alone be a friend of his." She said. Pandora was relieved really by the question. "I'm a Ravenclaw and I only have one class with Gry---"

"Shush! I asked you what I wanted to know. Now I want to know how long have you been able to cause fire?" He interrupted her making her jump at his 'Shush'.

"Ever since I was real little I could." She made the answer short this time. He looked down at her once again like she was a science project. He then stood up.

"I think you will be a great use to me. Tomorrow we will go out and see what else you can do. Then you will be ready to return to school. Ah and of course the funeral. The Carrows will take you there. I believe the funeral is tomorrow?" He asked and Pandora nodded. "You will go there first and then come back." He walked away with a pleased smirk on his face. "Bella you can come in and stop listening in on my conversation"

Bellatrix walked in with a look as if she was busted. Pandora couldn't help but to smirk. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

She was wrong........

Pandora's Box: Beware (Chapter 2= Meeting them)

Pandora had another power and that one was triggered ever since she walked onto the Train. She was able to sense danger when it was near. She didn't know what to do because she was stuck on the train and could putting the others on the train in danger if she set it on fire. She looked out the window and it seemed to look ok outside. Why was she feeling this way now?

The train stopped and it looked like they were in London and it was time for her to head out and meet who was going to take her to her foster parents. When she looked out she seen a man and woman standing out there waiting and looking around for her. They looked familiar but she couldn't place it. Now why would someone look familiar to her when she is about to just meet them?

As she walked out of the train they came over to her "You must be who I'm supposed to meet." Pandora said to them. The man smirked "Ah Miss Summer do follow us. I am Amycus and this is my sister Alecto Carrow." He said as Alecto whacked him upside his head

"You idiot we are in public!" She said and looked at Pandora with a grin. And that was when Pandora noticed something...they were Death Eaters. Instead of following them Pandora dropped her things and made a run for it to find a Auror or someone that could help her.

Amycus and Alecto were to busy arguing about something to notice she was running. Alecto was the first to notice and ran after her "IMPERIO!!" yelling out the curse. But didn't understand why it didn't work on Pandora who just laughed.

Any spells that cause mind control doesn't work on her. It was her favorite thing about her. She kept running and Amycus was now behind her and yelled the one that that stopped her "CRUCIO!!" With him yelling that Pandora fell to the ground screaming in pain.

Amycus looked down at her and Alecto joined him "It looks like our girl here tried to run. Let's get her to the Dark Lord and Bellatrix before she tries to run again." Amycus said picking up Pandora while Alecto made Pandora's things disappear. Which meant she already sent them to where they were going which was the Malfoy Manor.

Pandora didn't want to feel that curse again and decided to just keep quiet and not say anything. She would get them back she knew a spell that would light their fire the next time they tried using any of those spells on her. During her deep thought she noticed she was at the Malfoy Manor and a woman with very curly frizzy hair looked down at her.

"So this is my new little daughter. Why must she have red hair?" She muttered the last. "WELL STAND HER UP! I want a Better LOOK!" She shrieked. This made Pandora's skin crawl.

Alecto made Pandora stand and look at the woman that had to be Bellatrix Lestrange. Pandora could tell it was her even with her all cleaned up.

Bellatrix walked around Pandora like a lion did stalking it's prey. Bellatrix moved closer to Pandora getting close to her ear whispering to her "Pandora I do like that name. I do hope you live up to the name. " She moved back and took Pandora by the hand and started to drag her out of the room "Come now it's time to meet The Dark Lord my dear child."

Pandora closed her eyes wishing she would wake from this nightmare but when she opened her eyes the nightmare was still there. Though the Devil himself stood by the fire looking inside watching the flames move. "Bella, have you brought me another follower?' He said in a low hiss. Once again making the skin on Pandora crawl.

"No, my lord and yes in a way this is the one I was talking about. And the Carrows tell me some interesting news. Mind control doesn't work on her." This made Voldemort turn around to face Pandora. He now was curious about Pandora. Pandora couldn't tell if he was curious or annoyed that she could do this.

"And this is the one that can cause fire, yes?" he asked and Bellatrix nodded. "Interesting. Take her to her room. I have a few things I want to try on her for later and I want her to have her rest first...she will need it." He said once again turning to the fire.

Bellatrix grinned and grabbed Pandora taking her upstairs to her room throwing her in. "Go to sleep you have a big night ahead of you." She said slamming the door.

Pandora got up from the floor walking to the bed and sitting down crying. "This is a nightmare...It has to be..."She mumbled to herself as she laid down on the bed hoping to wake up from this nightmare.

Pandora's Box: Beware (Chapter 1= The death of her parents)

Most people find that moving is the worst thing in the world because you are leaving your friends and family. But not for Pandora, she hated everyone in her small town in California. She was very happy to be moving to London, England and going to a new school. A Magical school for witches and wizards. Her parents were both wizard and witch. Hogwarts was a very good school for witches and wizards and she was happy to be going. Though there was one problem because she was home

schooled she had to start as a first year. Though this had to be better than going to a stupid muggle school where everytime she got mad she set fire to whatever room she was in. Yes that is right folks Pandora has Pyrokinesis. Or what everyone calls her pyro. Due to her causing so many fires her parents thought it was best to move before questions were asked. Dumbledore was the first to contact them and had interest in Pandora. Though little did she know that she would never get the chance to really get to know him unlike Harry Potter.

Pandora was sorted into Ravenclaw and made quick friends with everyone in her house. Luna was one of the first to come to her. Then it was Cho and her friends. Then so on and so on. Pandora was going to enjoy Hogwarts.

Pandora sat on her bed studying for Professor Snape's test not wanting to be called a dunderhead and then get into trouble for setting his classroom on fire, again. When Pandora set down the book to get a drink she found a letter sitting on her bed and a very determine owl. Pandora laughed and gave him a treat.

Dear Pandora Summers,

Please come to my office.

Signed

Professor Dumbledore

Pandora put the letter down and headed out the door while Bumper her fat cat tried to follow her by waddling towards the door.

Pandora headed to the Headmaster's office knocking on the door.

"AH yes Miss Summers do come in" Said Professor Dumbledore from his desk. He looked serious and Pandora could tell what he wanted to tell her wasn't good at all.

"Please sit..you will need too." He said his voice soft. Pandora sat down and waited for what he had to say. "I was told that well I guess I should come out and say it." He said handing Pandora a tissue.

"Your parents were killed by Death Eaters." He said.

Pandora closed her eyes tears rolling down her face as she heard the news. She opened her eyes and muttered oh no "Your bird I set him on fire." Dumbledore looked over at his bird and just chuckled.

"No, he is a Phoenix he is supposed to do that." He said. "You're taking this rather well."

"How am I suppose to take it? Freak out and throw things blow your office. No, I don't want to be kicked out of school." She said calmly tears rolling down her face.

"Well, I'm going to let you take some time off to go to the funeral and to pack your things so they are sent to your foster parents. I don't know who they are but the Ministry has already placed you with them for the time you are here at Hogwarts."

Pandora nodded "I will go get my things. Do you want me to go to the Great Hall when I finish?" She asked wiping her tears with the tissue Dumbledore gave her.

"If you would please." He said and Pandora headed out the door.

What was Pandora pulling she was crushed she fell to the ground on the steps and started to cry. Her parents meant the world to her and to be put in a home with foster parents was like a slap in the face. After letting out as much as she could she got up and headed back to the Ravenclaw tower.

When she opened the door she picked up Bumper and held him close. "Bumper they are gone.." The cat meowed and purred closed to her as if he was saying it was all going to be alright.

Pandora finished knowing it was time to meet her foster parents. What would they be like? Who were they? Did they have a kid here at Hogwarts? And does she want to know who they are?
